CAPTAIN'S LOG · DAY 9
THE CROSSING CONTINUES.
Another Viking had joined the ship. Sixty-four sailors now faced west together as the fleet continued away from Greenland toward the North American mainland.
By the close of Day 9, the crew had recorded 9,904,699 steps — approximately 6,438 kilometres carried by sixty-four pairs of legs, one shared voyage and one stubborn fleet.
EVERY STEP MOVES THE SHIPS.
EVERY SAILOR MOVES THE FLEET.
— Captain Hákon
